This crime thriller is an amazing story of how a lucrative phishing business run by school dropouts grabbed the attention of a politician, law enforcement agency and media. This is one of the uses of Digital India, the unemployed youth chose to trust and make money in the fastest way possible, and that too, without any hassle.

The Laundromat

The movie has a sharp and funny tale of bad ideas that that have been depicted. Though the movie is a bit complicated, the subject matter at hand is pretty interesting to keep the attention of the viewers. I feel the movie is spot on as it hits the entertainment quotient as well as is educational with an amazing cast.

Inside Job

Interesting, thrilling and eye opening. The documentary shows the shocking reality of things went down in the global recession in 2008. In my opinion, it is one of the best documentaries out there, and is a must watch. It has not only exposed Wall Street and investment banks, but also business school professionals and many other financial delegates.

FYRE- The greatest party that never happened

The title of the movie is quite self-explanatory. The storytelling is great with a rollercoaster ride full of emotions; be it from the preparation to the event itself or even the aftermath. This insight into the most scandalous party will not just tell you about the people involved, but on the whole, it will make you hate everyone on the screen (not that its everyone’s fault here).

Dirty Money

This show, full of amazing documentaries must be one of the best Netflix has put out. It brings to attention some stories we never knew existed. The cliché that says, “the rich get richer”, while that may be true, it is not always done through legal or moral methods and this show, does exactly that. It takes a look at the stories of scandals and corruptions in businesses, exposing acts of greed and corruption and lots more.

The Wizard of Lies

The cast and their acting would’ve been sufficient for me to call this a great movie, but it does more. The movie gives so many lessons that it is hard to believe the things that happened to the money of investors. As someone who trades and invests money , this movie is giving me thoughts that are very scary.

Snowden

Based on the remarkable true story, this is an actual scandal you might’ve never heard before. The movie highlights the scary and threatening aspect of the modern technological and cyber world we live in and how easily we are manipulated by it. The film has an impeccably gripping narrative and keeps you hooked right till the end.

Badmaash Company

The storyline and the comedy paired with the cast, do justice to the title of the movie. A highly underrated movie that shows us how people sometimes do the wrong things the right way and get away with it. With a strong premise, a solid setting and an amazing scam, this movie is a weekend delight.

Bazaar

The movie shows one young, intelligent and ambitions man who comes to Mumbai to make it big in the stock market and primarily to work with his idol and what happens next. The end of the movie is easily guessable, but the movie keeps you engaged because of the thrilling performance of the cast. Even though the movie missed its mark by a significant distance at the box office, I feel a onetime watch like this should have its place on the list.
